'Gambler' Summary
Clodagh Asshlin, the eldest daughter of an Irish gentleman, is thrust into adulthood when her father's gambling addiction leads to tragedy. She marries a man she does not love and travels to Europe, where she mingles with people of society and fashion. However, she soon discovers that her new acquaintances are not the friends she believes them to be. During her visit to Europe, Clodagh discovers that she too is burdened with the Asshlin curse for gambling, which eventually leads to more heartbreak. A chance encounter seems to change her life, but she is once again thwarted by the Asshlin curse. A surprise and tense ending is in store for Clodagh.Book Details
