The Odyssey is an epic poem attributed to the ancient Greek poet Homer, describing the ten-year journey of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, to return home after the Trojan War. Along the way, Odysseus encounters various trials and tribulations, including battles with monsters, shipwrecks, and encounters with gods and goddesses.
