The story takes place in the time of the First Temple and revolves around Yoram, a wealthy and respected man. Yoram has two wives, Tzipporah and Avigayil, and many children. Tzipporah is a strong and independent woman, while Avigayil is more submissive and traditional. Yoram loves both of his wives, but he is more passionate about Tzipporah. The story follows the lives of Yoram and his family as they navigate the challenges of their time. They face political upheaval, religious persecution, and personal tragedy.
