Magic Nuts
'Magic Nuts' Summary
Leonore, a little English girl, is taken by her governess to Fraulein Elsa's home town in an (unnamed) country where she meets Hildegarde, a little girl of her own age, who lives in a castle there. The girls each come into possession of three magic nuts, which open the doors to three enchanted adventures involving gnomes, air-fairies, and mermaids. In the first adventure, the girls are transported to a land of gnomes, where they meet a kind gnome who helps them find their way back home. In the second adventure, the girls are transported to a land of air-fairies, where they meet a beautiful fairy who helps them to fly. In the third adventure, the girls are transported to a land of mermaids, where they meet a wise mermaid who helps them to understand the secrets of the sea. Through their adventures, the girls learn about the importance of friendship, courage, and kindness.Book Details
