'Marcia Schuyler' Summary
Marcia Schuyler is a sweet and selfless young woman who is deeply in love with David Spafford, the man her vain and selfish sister Kate is set to marry. When Kate elopes with another man, Marcia is faced with a difficult choice. To save David from further humiliation, Marcia agrees to take Kate's place as his bride, though she knows he is still grieving for his lost love. As time passes, Marcia and David grow closer, and she begins to develop genuine feelings for him. However, their budding romance is complicated by Kate's eventual return, determined to win David back. Marcia must now decide whether to fight for the man she loves or accept the possibility of losing him to her sister. The story delves into the complexities of love, loyalty, and self-sacrifice as Marcia confronts her own desires and grapples with the consequences of her decisions.Book Details
