In 1665 London, amidst the terror of the Great Plague, Sir Norman Kingsley seeks answers from the enigmatic soothsayer, La Masque. A vision of a beautiful woman captivates his heart, and shortly after, he finds her in danger, rescuing her from a gruesome fate. But his joy is short-lived, for she vanishes as quickly as she appeared. Driven by love and intrigue, Sir Kingsley and his loyal friend Ormistan embark on a perilous journey to unravel the mystery of the missing maiden.
