'Odyseja' Summary
After fighting in the Trojan War, Odysseus sets out on a journey home to Ithaca. Along the way, he encounters many obstacles, including storms, monsters, and the wrath of the gods. After ten years of wandering, he finally returns home, only to find that his wife, Penelope, and his son, Telemachus, have been besieged by suitors. Odysseus disguises himself as a beggar and tests the loyalty of his servants and subjects. With the help of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, he reveals his true identity and slays the suitors, reclaiming his rightful place as king of Ithaca.Book Details
