'Pole Poppenspäler' Summary
Paul and Lisei's friendship is frowned upon by the townspeople. Tendler and his family are seen as outsiders and outcasts. Despite the challenges they face, Paul and Lisei's love for each other grows stronger. They eventually marry and have a child together. However, their happiness is short-lived. Tendler is killed in a tragic accident, and Lisei is left to raise their child alone. Paul eventually comes to her aid, and they raise the child together. The novel ends with Paul and Lisei happily married and their child growing up in a loving home.Book Details
