'Ramayan, Book 2' Summary
Ramayana, Book 2, takes place after Rama is exiled from his kingdom, Ayodhya, due to a political conspiracy. Along with his brother Lakshmana and devoted wife Sita, Rama embarks on a life in the forest. However, their idyllic existence is shattered when Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, abducts Sita, seeking to avenge his sister's humiliation at Rama's hands. Driven by love and duty, Rama vows to rescue Sita and embarks on a journey filled with challenges and divine interventions. He forms alliances with the monkey king Sugriva and Hanuman, who proves instrumental in locating Sita. Book 2 follows Rama and his allies as they prepare for war against Ravana, a battle that will ultimately shape the fate of the world.Book Details
