Lady Margaret, a young woman living in the Scottish Isles, experiences a chilling vision of her own demise. This premonition leads her to fear the arrival of a vampire who seeks to drain her life force. When she encounters the handsome and charismatic Lord Ruthven, her suspicions are confirmed. He is the vampire from her dream, drawn to her beauty and vitality.
