'Secret of the Silver Car' Summary

Anthony Trent, a successful and elusive criminal, returns to civilian life after serving in World War I. The war's horrors have left him shaken, but he is plagued by a deeper fear: exposure. During a terrifying incident in the trenches, he was buried alive with an English soldier, and in the belief that they wouldn't survive, revealed his true identity.
