Soap Bubble Stories
by Fanny Barry
'Soap Bubble Stories' Summary
Once upon a time, there were a group of children who loved to blow soap bubbles. They would spend hours in the backyard, filling the air with their iridescent creations. One day, as they were playing, they noticed a stranger sitting in their shadow. The stranger had been watching them, and she asked if she could blow them some bubbles of her own. The children were curious, so they agreed. The stranger took out a pipe and a bowl of soap suds, and she began to blow the most amazing bubbles the children had ever seen. The bubbles were all different colors and shapes, and they floated through the air like little pieces of magic. The children were so enchanted by the stranger's bubbles that they forgot all about their own. They watched as the bubbles drifted higher and higher, until they disappeared into the sky. When the last bubble was gone, the children turned to thank the stranger, but she was gone too. The children never forgot the stranger or her amazing bubbles. They knew that they had witnessed something special, and they cherished the memory of that day for the rest of their lives.Book Details
