Tales of Three Hemispheres
by Lord Dunsany
'Tales of Three Hemispheres' Summary
The fourteen stories in Tales of Three Hemispheres range widely in setting and theme, but are all characterised by Dunsany's distinctive blend of fantasy, adventure, and whimsy. The title story is set in a world where three hemispheres exist, each with its own unique set of laws and customs. In "The Sword of Welleran," a young man sets out on a quest to find a magical sword. "Idle Days on the Yann" tells the tale of a group of friends who путешествие down a mysterious river. And in "The Hashish Man," a man becomes addicted to a powerful drug that transports him to a dreamlike world. Through these and other stories, Dunsany explores the nature of reality, the power of imagination, and the human condition.Book Details
