Wet Magic

Wet Magic

by E. Nesbit

In 'Wet Magic,' the beloved children from E. Nesbit's previous magical adventures, Bernard, Mavis, Kathleen, and Francis, embark on a seaside holiday. Francis, particularly enamored with the ocean, finds an old aquarium, sparking the children's imagination. Their playful exploration of the aquarium is disrupted by their temporary guardian, Aunt Enid, but a magical charm accidentally recited by Francis opens up a world of underwater wonder. The children find themselves entangled in a daring rescue of a mermaid who appears to be in danger. 'Wet Magic' weaves a tale of friendship, courage, and the magic that can be found in unexpected places, especially in the embrace of the sea.
