'Wet Magic' Summary
The story begins with Francis, yearning for the sea, finding an old aquarium during a seaside holiday. His siblings, Bernard, Mavis, and Kathleen, join him in his excitement, but their plans are thwarted by their temporary guardian, Aunt Enid. However, a magical charm accidentally spoken by Francis unlocks a portal to a hidden underwater world. The children encounter a mermaid seemingly in distress and embark on a daring rescue mission. Their actions inadvertently lead them to the discovery of a thriving underwater kingdom complete with a mer-king, mer-queen, and even mer-princesses. Through their bravery, resourcefulness, and belief in magic, the children navigate the underwater realm, unraveling secrets and facing surprising dangers. In the end, they learn about the importance of friendship, courage, and the enduring power of imagination.Book Details
