The novel follows the protagonist, a young man who is disillusioned with life and finds himself adrift in a meaningless world. He wanders through the city, observing the lives of others and trying to find some purpose or meaning in his own life. Along the way, he encounters a variety of characters, each of whom represents a different aspect of the human condition. In the end, the protagonist comes to realize that there is no easy answer to the problem of boredom, but that it is a condition that must be confronted and accepted.Book Details
