'Aiguille creuse' Summary
Arsène Lupin, the famous thief, has discovered the secret location of the hidden treasure of the kings of France. A young student named Isodore Beautrelet, who has been studying the clues left by Lupin, sets out to find the treasure himself. The two characters engage in a battle of wits and cunning, as they try to outsmart each other and find the treasure first. The story takes place in the countryside of Normandy, and features a cast of colorful characters, including a beautiful woman who may or may not be working with Lupin. In the end, it is Lupin who finds the treasure, but not without giving Beautrelet a chance to prove his worth as a thief.
