Ambulance Made Two Trips
'Ambulance Made Two Trips' Summary
In a small town held captive by the ruthless reign of Big Jake Connors, Detective Sergeant Fitzgerald stands as a beacon of hope in a sea of corruption and fear. Connors's reign of terror, fueled by violence, bribery, and intimidation, has cast a shadow over the town, leaving Fitzgerald powerless to intervene. However, a glimmer of defiance emerges when a modest dry cleaning establishment refuses Connors's so-called 'protection.' This act of defiance triggers a series of peculiar and inexplicable events that begin to plague the gangsters. As Fitzgerald investigates, he discovers that the ordinary citizens of the town have banded together to fight back against Connors's tyranny, and with the aid of an eccentric scientist, Fitzgerald unearths a secret that could potentially bring Connors's empire crashing down. However, in a town where justice and truth are elusive, the battle for liberation will be fraught with peril and uncertainty.Book Details
