Aunt Milly's Diamonds
by Ruth Lamb
'Aunt Milly's Diamonds' Summary
On Christmas Eve, an elderly woman named Aunt Milly gathers her grandchildren around the fireplace and tells them a story from her past. She begins by describing her childhood home, a rambling old house filled with laughter and love. One day, Aunt Milly's wealthy uncle visits and leaves her a mysterious gift: a small box of diamonds. Aunt Milly is overjoyed, but she soon learns that the diamonds are not as simple as they seem. They are cursed, and anyone who possesses them will be met with misfortune. Aunt Milly's family tries to hide the diamonds, but they always seem to resurface, bringing with them a trail of bad luck. As the grandchildren listen to Aunt Milly's story, they learn valuable lessons about family, tradition, and the importance of embracing the unexpected.Book Details
