Bible (YLT) NT 13-14: 1 & 2 Epistles to the Thessalonians
by Young's Literal Translation
'Bible (YLT) NT 13-14: 1 & 2 Epistles to the Thessalonians' Summary
The First Epistle to the Thessalonians begins with a salutation from Paul, Silas, and Timothy to the church in Thessalonica. Paul then commends the Thessalonians for their faith, love, and perseverance. He also encourages them to continue to grow in their faith and to be ready for the return of Christ. The Second Epistle to the Thessalonians begins with a similar salutation. Paul then addresses some concerns that the Thessalonians had about the end times. He assures them that the day of the Lord will not come suddenly, and he encourages them to be patient and to continue to live faithfully. Both of the epistles to the Thessalonians are valuable sources of information about the early church. They provide insight into the beliefs and practices of the early Christians, and they offer encouragement and hope to Christians today.Book Details
