'Bruce' Summary
Bruce is an unwanted puppy who is taken in by a family and becomes the beloved pet of the mistress of the household. When World War I breaks out, Bruce is enlisted as a carrier dog and sent to the front lines. He performs heroic tasks, including delivering messages and rescuing wounded soldiers, and becomes a war hero. After the war, Bruce returns home to a hero's welcome and lives out the rest of his days in peace and happiness.Book Details
