'Burg von Otranto' Summary
Die Geschichte beginnt mit Manfred, dem Fürsten von Otranto, der bemüht ist, seine Nachfolge zu sichern. Er plant die Hochzeit seines Sohnes mit Isabelle, die durch ihren Vater Ansprüche auf Otranto erhebt. Doch bei einem tragischen Unfall wird Manfreds Sohn durch einen riesigen Helm erschlagen. Manfred, nun ohne männlichen Erben, strebt nach der Heirat mit der jungen Isabelle, was zu einer Reihe von Komplikationen führt. Die Lage spitzt sich zu, als eine riesige Gestalt in der Burg erscheint, ein riesiges Schwert vor den Toren auftaucht und eine alte Prophezeiung wieder ans Licht kommt, die von einem neuen Herrscher spricht. Die Suche nach der Wahrheit über die Prophezeiung und das Schicksal von Otranto zieht Manfred, Isabelle und ihre Gefolgsleute in ein Netz aus Intrigen, Geheimnissen und unheilvollen Vorkommnissen, die den Geist der Burg Otranto für immer verändern werden.Book Details
