'Castle Spectre' Summary
The play begins with Angela, a young woman, imprisoned in the castle of Reginald, a nobleman with a dark past. Reginald's secrets, including the death of his brother, Osmond, are revealed through flashbacks and a haunting spectre. Osmond, who is believed to be dead, is actually alive and disguised as a wandering monk. He seeks to rescue Angela and expose Reginald's crimes. Through a series of twists and turns, including a ghostly apparition, misunderstandings, and hidden identities, Osmond's true identity is revealed.
