'Desert Drama: Being the Tragedy Of The Korosko' Summary
In 1895, a group of European tourists embark on a journey up the River Nile in Egypt. They are soon attacked and abducted by a band of Dervish warriors. The tourists are taken to the Dervish camp, where they are held captive and subjected to harsh treatment. The novel follows the tourists' experiences in captivity and their attempts to escape. Along the way, they learn more about the Dervishes and their motivations. The novel also explores the themes of British Imperialism, Islamophobia, and the dangers of travel in hostile territory.Book Details
