'Everybody's Lonesome' Summary
Mary Alice is a young woman who is bored with her home life and envious of her more popular friends. At her mother's advice, she visits her godmother in New York City, who teaches her a few simple tricks to help her feel more confident and at ease in social situations. Mary Alice soon discovers that these tricks are more than just magic; they are a way of unlocking her own inner strength and potential. As she learns to use her newfound powers, Mary Alice begins to transform her own life and the lives of those around her. She learns to appreciate the simple things in life, to find joy in her own company, and to make friends with people who truly care about her. Through her journey, Mary Alice discovers that happiness is not something that can be found outside of herself. It is something that she must create for herself.Book Details
