'Hija del Adelantado' Summary
La novela "Hija del Adelantado" nos transporta a la Guatemala colonial del siglo XVI, donde Pedro de Alvarado, el Adelantado, regresa a la ciudad con su esposa, Doña Beatriz de la Cueva, y su hija mestiza, Leonor. Leonor, fruto de una relación entre Alvarado y una princesa indígena, se encuentra en un laberinto de identidades, atrapada entre la cultura española y la de sus ancestros. La trama se desarrolla en medio de un torbellino de intrigas políticas, conspiraciones y enfrentamientos culturales, donde los sentimientos de Leonor se ven envueltos en un juego peligroso entre el amor y el deber. La novela explora el choque entre el poderío español y la resistencia indígena, mientras Leonor lucha por encontrar su lugar en un mundo dividido por la conquista y la tradición.
