'House of a Thousand Candles' Summary
The House of a Thousand Candles is a classic mystery novel with elements of romance and adventure. Jack Glenarm, a young man who has spent his life traveling the world, returns home to Indiana to inherit his grandfather's estate. However, there is a catch: he must spend one year living in his grandfather's unfinished mansion, which is rumored to be haunted. Jack soon finds himself caught up in a series of strange and mysterious events. He hears strange noises, sees strange figures, and uncovers a web of family secrets.
