Hunters of the Hills
'Hunters of the Hills' Summary
In the untamed wilderness of 1755, amidst the escalating tensions of the French and Indian War, a band of young frontiersmen embarks on a perilous expedition. Led by the resourceful Henry Ware, they venture into the treacherous hills of western New York, seeking adventure and a chance to prove their mettle. Along the way, they forge an uneasy alliance with the enigmatic Iroquois Confederacy, whose strategic importance makes them a coveted ally for both sides in the conflict. As the battle for control of North America intensifies, the frontiersmen find themselves caught between the competing ambitions of France and England. They witness the brutality of warfare, the complexities of cultural differences, and the indomitable spirit of those who fight for their land and their way of life. Through it all, the bonds of friendship, loyalty, and courage are tested to their limits as they navigate the unforgiving frontier and the even more treacherous path of war.Book Details
