'Land of Frozen Suns' Summary
Bob Sumner, a young man from the comfortable life of St. Louis, finds himself unexpectedly thrust into a world of hardship and intrigue. After being kidnapped and forced onto a ship called the 'New Moon', he finds himself sailing north up the Mississippi River, his destination the frigid and rugged terrain of British Columbia. This is a world far removed from Sumner's past life, and he is forced to learn the ways of survival amidst the treacherous landscape and harsh climate. Surrounded by a crew of dubious characters, Sumner is constantly challenged by betrayals and double-crossings, questioning the trust he once held in his fellow man. He must learn to navigate the icy waters, the unforgiving wilderness, and the even more unforgiving people who inhabit this northern land. In a world where danger lurks around every corner, Sumner is forced to tap into his inner strength and resilience in order to find his place, forge his own path, and ultimately, survive.Book Details
