by E. Nesbit
'Magic World' Summary
In 'The Magic World,' children encounter a variety of enchanting situations. A mischievous fairy tricks a young girl into wishing for a dog, only to find it's a rather large and grumpy creature. A group of children discover a hidden world inhabited by talking animals who are in desperate need of their help. A princess is transformed into an ugly toad by a jealous stepmother, and the children embark on a quest to break the curse. Throughout these adventures, E. Nesbit's witty observations on human nature and the perils of unchecked desires shine through, making 'The Magic World' a delightful and engaging read for children and adults alike.Book Details
