'Man Who Staked The Stars' Summary
A ruthless mobster, known for his dominance and ruthlessness, becomes the target of a relentless investigation. The scrutiny, however, is not just from outside forces but from within himself. A doppelganger, a physical manifestation of his own inner turmoil, begins to haunt him. This spectral figure, born from years of unchecked ambition and unlawful acts, is a reflection of his suppressed guilt. As the doppelganger grows in influence, it starts to manipulate the mobster's actions, causing him to question his own motives and choices. He becomes ensnared in a battle for his own soul, fighting to retain control over his actions and his identity. The narrative explores themes of self-reflection, the consequences of unchecked power, and the internal struggle against the darkness that resides within.Book Details
