'Mantel' Summary
Akakij Akakijewitsch ist ein kleiner Beamter, der sein eintöniges Leben als Kopist fristet. Seine Leidenschaft für Kalligraphie und sein Traum von einem neuen Mantel geben ihm jedoch einen Sinn. Als sein alter Mantel zerschlissen ist, beschließt Akakij, eisern zu sparen, um sich einen neuen leisten zu können. Sein Entschluss verändert ihn, gibt ihm neue Zuversicht und ein Gefühl von Würde.
