Marriage, Volume 2

Marriage, volume 2

by Susan Edmonstoune Ferrier

This is the story of Lady Juliana, the daughter of an Earl, who elopes with a Scottish soldier, Henry Douglas. Disowned by her father and dismissed from the army, the couple journey to Glenfern in Scotland and reside with the Douglas family. Juliana is shocked by the difference in lifestyles and makes no attempt to accept her new life. Despite the kind-hearted attempts of Henry's fussing spinster aunts, events take some interesting turns.
