Midnight Passenger
'Midnight Passenger' Summary
In the bustling streets of New York City, Randall Clayton finds himself entangled in a complex web of intrigue and betrayal. His father's business partner, Hugh Worthington, a seemingly benevolent figure who has taken Clayton under his wing since his father's death, holds a sinister secret. Worthington has a plan to seize Clayton's inheritance, a plan driven by greed and deceit. Adding to Clayton's troubles is his roommate, Arthur Ferris, who harbors a secret ambition - to win the affections of Worthington's daughter, a woman Clayton also loves. Meanwhile, a dangerous criminal, Fritz Braun, plots to rob Clayton of the large sum of money he carries for his employer. As Clayton grapples with these challenges, he finds himself under constant surveillance by Worthington's spies. His only solace lies in his friendship with Jack Witherspoon, who is about to embark on a journey to Europe. However, the dangers surrounding Clayton escalate as he becomes the target of a ruthless conspiracy that threatens to destroy him. As the shadows lengthen and the stakes rise, Clayton must navigate a treacherous path, unraveling the truth behind Worthington's machinations and the secrets that bind him to his enemies. With every twist and turn, Clayton's determination to protect himself and expose the truth is tested, leading him down a perilous journey that will forever change his life.Book Details
