'Moon and Sixpence' Summary
**The Moon and Sixpence** tells the story of Charles Strickland, a middle-aged stockbroker who abruptly abandons his wife and children to become an artist. Strickland's journey takes him from Paris and Marseille to Tahiti, where he eventually dies of leprosy. Along the way, he meets a variety of people who help him to develop his artistic vision.
