'Navidad en las Montañas' Summary
The story is told from the perspective of the soldier who is lost in the mountains. He is tired and hungry and is starting to lose hope. He comes across a small village and is invited to spend the night. The villagers are celebrating Christmas Eve and the soldier is welcomed into their festivities. He learns about the importance of family and community and the true meaning of Christmas. The soldier spends the night with the villagers and in the morning he is able to find his way back home. He is grateful for the kindness of the villagers and the lessons he has learned. He knows that he will never forget his Christmas in the mountains.Book Details
