'Pirates Of Penzance; Or The Slave Of Duty' Summary
Frederic, a young man apprenticed to a band of comical pirates, is released from his indentures on his 21st birthday. However, a twist of fate reveals he was born on February 29th, and his apprenticeship extends for another 63 years. Despite his predicament, he falls in love with the charming Mabel, the daughter of the eccentric Major-General Stanley. Bound by duty and the terms of his apprenticeship, Frederic's only solace is Mabel's unwavering love and promise to wait for him. The story unfolds with a series of hilarious encounters between the pirates, the Major-General's family, and the police.
