'Relíquia' Summary
Teodorico Raposo, the narrator of "A Relíquia," is a young man who lives a double life. To his family, he is a devout Catholic, but to his friends, he is a drunkard and a womanizer. When his wealthy aunt dies, Teodorico is tasked with taking her relics to the Holy Land. He reluctantly agrees, but his journey is anything but pious. Along the way, he encounters a cast of colorful characters, including a beautiful young woman who tempts him to break his vows. Teodorico's journey is a test of his faith, and he must ultimately decide what is truly important to him.Book Details
