by Sir Arthur Thomas Quiller-Couch
'Ship of Stars' Summary
Taffy, the son of a vicar, leads a comfortable and loving life. When his father receives a new position in the north of England, the family is forced to uproot and adapt to a different environment. For Taffy, this change brings new friendships and experiences, including a vacation that leaves him with lingering questions. However, as he encounters adults grappling with their own troubles, Taffy starts to notice inconsistencies and secrets that he cannot fully grasp. This experience forces him to confront the complexities of adult life and the challenges of growing up, all while holding onto the innocence and optimism that define his childhood.Book Details
