'Spaceship Named McGuire' Summary

Daniel Oak is a hard-boiled private investigator with a reputation for getting results. When he's hired to investigate the case of six experimental spaceships that have gone haywire, he suspects sabotage. But as he digs deeper, he discovers that the truth is more complicated than he thought. The spaceships, known as the McGuire, are equipped with a new type of artificial intelligence that gives them the ability to think for themselves.
