'Steam Man of the Prairies' Summary
Ethan Hopkins and Mickey McSquizzle are two friends who live in the American prairies. One day, they come across a huge, steam-powered man. The steam-man is made of metal and powered by a boiler. It is controlled by a young boy named Johnny Brainerd. Johnny Brainerd uses the steam-man to help him with his work on his family's farm. Ethan and Mickey are amazed by the steam-man, and they ask Johnny Brainerd if they can ride in it. Johnny Brainerd agrees, and the three friends go on an adventure together. They travel to different parts of the prairies, and they have many exciting adventures. Along the way, they meet other people who are amazed by the steam-man. Ethan and Mickey learn a lot about science and technology from Johnny Brainerd, and they come to appreciate the power of steam power.Book Details
