Set in British India, 'Jungle Girl' tells the story of Mr. Wargrave, a British officer stationed at a remote border outpost, Ranga Duar. He finds himself entangled in the lives of the outpost's inhabitants, including the enigmatic Miss Benson, known as the 'Jungle Girl,' and the political officer's wife, Mrs. Norton. As Wargrave navigates the challenges of life on the frontier, he faces the allure of Miss Benson while dealing with the complexities of the outpost's environment and the political climate of the era.
