Thing From The Lake

Thing from the Lake

by Eleanor M. Ingram

In the tranquil countryside of Connecticut, Roger Locke embarks on a journey to renovate an abandoned farmhouse. Little does he know that this seemingly idyllic retreat harbors a sinister secret. As night falls, an unseen presence makes its presence known, leaving ominous warnings and unsettling sounds that echo from the nearby lake. An eerie odor permeates the air, and Roger finds himself tormented by a malevolent force that challenges his sanity. Accompanied by his cousin Phillida and her beau Ethan, Roger delves into the depths of the farmhouse's dark history, uncovering a web of witchcraft and ancient grudges. As the lines between reality and illusion blur, Roger must confront the horrifying entity that lurks in the shadows, fighting for his survival and the safety of those he holds dear.
