The Hound of the Baskervilles is a classic detective novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that follows the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they investigate the mysterious death of Sir Charles Baskerville. Sir Charles was found dead on the desolate moors of Devonshire, and the local legend has it that he was killed by a monstrous hound that roams the moors.
