Tommy Trot's Visit to Santa Claus
'Tommy Trot's Visit to Santa Claus' Summary
Tommy Trot, a wealthy boy from Virginia, always receives an abundance of presents at Christmas. However, despite the extravagant gifts, he never feels truly satisfied. He starts to observe Johnny, a poor boy living nearby, and is struck by his lack of toys and comforts. Tommy's heart begins to soften as he witnesses Johnny's simple pleasures and the kindness he exhibits despite his poverty. This realization prompts Tommy to reconsider his own values and the meaning of true happiness.
