'Trinummus: The Three Pieces of Money' Summary
Trinummus is a comedy about the power of money and the importance of family. The play tells the story of Charmides, an Athenian merchant who buries his treasure in the ground before going into exile. His son, Lesbonicus, spends all of his father's money and is forced to sell his house. When Charmides returns, he is reunited with his son and his treasure.
