'Upas Tree, A Christmas Story for all the Year' Summary
Ronald West, a successful author, plans to spend six months in Central Africa researching for his upcoming novel. Despite his wife Helen's initial hesitation, she eventually supports his decision. As Ronald ventures into the heart of Africa, Helen remains at home, eagerly awaiting his return. However, when Ronald finally arrives back on Christmas Eve, a somber secret weighs heavily on his mind.
