'Viaje al centro de la Tierra' Summary
Journey to the Center of the Earth begins in Hamburg, Germany, where Professor Lidenbrock, a renowned geologist, is studying a mysterious Icelandic manuscript. He believes that the manuscript contains a coded message revealing the location of a passage to the center of the Earth. Professor Lidenbrock, his nephew Axel, and their guide Hans set off on an expedition to Iceland to find the passage. They descend into the volcano Snæfellsjökull, and after a long and perilous journey, they reach the center of the Earth. There, they discover a vast underground world filled with prehistoric creatures, including giant mushrooms, saber-toothed tigers, and mastodons. They also find a lost city inhabited by a race of people who have been living underground for centuries. After many adventures, the trio makes their way back to the surface and returns to Hamburg. They share their story with the world, but many people are skeptical of their claims. Nevertheless, Journey to the Center of the Earth remains a classic science fiction novel that has inspired generations of readers.Book Details
