'When the World Shook' Summary
Humphrey Arbuthnot, a young man from Devonshire, sets out on a voyage to the island of Orofena in the South Seas, accompanied by his servant Bastin and his spaniel Tommy. The island is a beautiful and mysterious place, but it is also full of danger. Arbuthnot and his companions must face many challenges, including attacks from wild animals, hostile natives, and even the elements themselves. Despite the dangers, Arbuthnot is determined to explore the island and find out its secrets. He eventually discovers a lost civilization and a hidden treasure, but he also learns that paradise can come at a price.Book Details
