'Als de natuur roept' Summary
Buck, een gelukkige hond die leeft in een comfortabel huis in Californië, wordt gestolen en verkocht naar Alaska. Hij wordt gedwongen om te werken als sledehond tijdens de barre Klondike Gold Rush. In het begin worstelt Buck met de wrede realiteit van zijn nieuwe bestaan, maar langzaam ontwaakt zijn oer-instinct. Hij leert overleven in de wildernis, vecht voor zijn plek in de roedel en wordt uiteindelijk geleid door de roep van de natuur.
