Erich, a university student, struggles with his studies and becomes increasingly absorbed in philosophical questions. He falls in love with Loo, but their relationship is doomed from the start. As Erich delves deeper into his philosophical inquiries, he becomes more and more disillusioned with life. He comes to believe that existence is ultimately meaningless and that happiness is an illusion. In the end, Erich is left alone and filled with despair.Book Details
